标 题: 对recruiter的一些感悟

近日收到朋友的朋友X简历一枚,看着不错,我颇感兴趣,于是通了个电话。而后我让
他给我列个面试过及接下来要面试的公司的list。
看过X的公司list后,有些感慨,总结在这里:
1。recruiter都是以成事为目标的,他根本不会管求职者的追求。把求职者推荐到合
适的位置上,被录了他就赚钱了。那些求职者真正想要的位置,如果跟简历有点不
match,人家可能就不给了。
2。所以基本上通过recruiter换工种非常难。求职者之前是工种A,recruiter给来给
去都会是工种A。然后忽悠说这个PAY更好啥的,总之求职者换工作他就发了。
3。以前的履历很大程度上决定了今后的走向。在大银行工作过的,给的面试就很大程
度还是大银行;其他也类似。难怪有人说,第一份工作很重要。当然,逆袭还是可以成
功的,必须得花大力气才行。
4。如果对行业不熟,明明想去小公司,都很难投。因为求职者对很多小公司可能都不
知道(所以经常来quant版还是有好处的),找都没处找。这个recruiter手头资源还是
多些的,他愿不愿给就是另外一回事了。
解决方法好象只有扩大朋友圈,对自己向往的行业/工种有更深的了解和联系,这样自
己要投哪些地方会心里更有数,recruiter也就没那么容易忽悠了。

The bottom-line is: none can work for free in a commercialize society, they
got to get something, either some direct benefit, or indirect future benefit.
Direct benefits are for now, right away, short term, in these forms such as
pay,
commission, kick-backs, referrals, bonus, etc.
Indirect benefits are for future, non-money based for now, for long term and
usually can be bigger, even much bigger in future $s. It can be everything
such as shares, stock/equity, titles, position, board of directors, etc.
The
important factor here is that the person should be convinced that you are
doing a promising project, has a "Future"....
Otherwise, why they care to "join in"?
The most attactive benefist to attract the top talents in any industry, in
any areas, at any stage of the firm, has been a combination of the 2. That'
s what the successful companies have done and been still doing everyday!
