这里有人有过经验使用白人sales吗?我卖的是工业产品,需要一家公司一家公司的走
访。考虑雇一个commission only 的sales。第一年大概1米左右的销售额吧,第二年干
的好可能1.5到2米。应该给%多少作为commission呢?有经验的说说

没有一点保底工资吗,那我估计得20%才能有人干,而且是全职干,还可能有效果。关
键这种人很难找到。

这种行业相关的,核心竞争力就在于销售,其次才是产品的设计和制造。要是我,宁愿
一开始少赚点,也要自己先跑几圈销售和各个潜在客户混个脸熟再招人做销售。

It is actually a day dreaming.
Check how American companies hire their sales team.
When doing business, you got to take the risk. You plan to harvest all the
profit and ask others to take the risk for you? And follow you to sell an un
-proved product?
1. Give him enough incentive,
2. Much higher returns potentials,
3, certain equity to let them know they have some control over the process...
And even you did all these, top sales may still not join you. If you are
not charming enough, the way left for you is pay and hire a sales, with
reasonable compensation plan and review process, try 3 months and see...

找几个猎头公司问问吧。 看你那个行业的标准是什么。 有些行业的sales就是
commission only。 例如地产经纪。

God point about 例如地产经纪. And why it is commission only?
There are several issues underlines or between the lines on my previous post
, 地产经纪 is a good example, an unique industry because:
1. They sell a "commodity that everyone needs - houses or homes.
2. The value of each deal is relatively much bigger than other common "
commodities", many times it's the single biggest purchase for many
individual in their whole life。
3. More importantly, in USA there is a systmatic way to guarantee the agents
can get commission surely after they closed the deal, so they won't worry
if they can get paid or not, or how much money they can get paid. They do
not
need to worry about the complet and complicated calculation of the cost,
revenue, net profit of the transactions, etc. But these issues are common
and important for other sales people to calculate their incomes.
The fact is: for a salesman of a common product, he has no control if he
can be paid surely -if the pay is commission-based only. Usually the
salesman
does not know the cost of the product, net profit etc... all these are
controled by the "owner - manager", but the commission are usually based on
these numbers, so it is an issue easily get disputes between the sales and
the owner in the process, can be very distractive. That's how a good
salesman won't take a commission-only sales jobs at all. Plenty of better
choices are out there waiting for them.
Other good examples are life insurance sales person and car sales person.
For these people, employers usually will pay the salesmen a reasonable base
salary for several months to get them started, plus commission + bonus, and
then decide to keep one or let him go based on the performance.
No matter what, the owner need to take the initial risk to start a business,
or the owner is charming enough to pursuade a top sales following you. In
this later case, the owner much "sacrifice" a big portion of its equity,
shares, etc.
Business is a tough field.

楼上说的有道理。
找一个好的sales person, 很难。如果不配以很好的待遇的话,没人愿意干这个。
要么给股份;要么自己去琢磨销售,否则天上可没有掉馅饼的事情。即使有,那也不是
做business碰到的,买彩票还差不多哈
