她毕业时拿到了FSU的faculty的offer..但是她出于种种原因,去princeton追随两大牛.
.faculty未遂做的postdoc..
后来个人兴趣和其它一些私人原因.回了香港..工资不菲外加很大很大的房子..哈哈.牛

这个显然不是事实吧，我碰到过几个水平一般的。
另外貌似FJQ女弟子比较多，我估计是范人品比较好，碰到女学生
要跟他也不好意思拒绝。他有一些学生的文章我明显感觉是他老
的手笔。

sigh..她一年的时间浪费了很多去交finance的课.而且....不适合讲的太多..毕竟很多是个人隐
私..
Fan人超级nice,但是他的文章作者排名的风格..自己去看看就知道了..一目了然..
她去的时候跟的是两个大牛的joint postdoc,一个是fjq,一个是Yacine ait-sahalia..
fan其实做的finance东西很少..如果懂这个方向(统计+金融+high frequency)的,去看看Yacine
近两年在annuals上面灌的水就知道了,基本上被他和Jacod给垄断了..想继续出一作的这方面好文
章..太难了..
而由于种种原因,包括家庭原因和个人喜好(我猜测的哈)..最终决定回国去潇洒去了..
一句话,人各有志..但是,作为名校phd,她得到了俺一个俗人所羡慕的生活和工作.这还不够么?够么?不

其实中国人现在做统计research的真是越来越牛了..
比如这位UCdavis出身的..3年phd毕业..再看paper..而且已经是annuals的 Associate

超难的课考过100分。我们在facebook上是好友。不过也不和他说话。他大概对我也没
