project, so they will ask questions when you talk about it. Usually no
technical questions, but maybe some questions about the courses you learned,
but will be very general, like" What did you learn from that course?"

很多，这个是最重要的。
我面试过的基本都是简单的background check以及一些behavior question. 简历上的
东东每样都能说出个123出来，还有网上很多的behavior questions准备准备，偶尔会
跟你来个brain teaser question. 一开始面试，难免紧张，或者答不好。多面才是硬
道理！

nd i think it is quite true..with more experience u can be more confident.
This might be a digression, but here comes an interesting issue. When faced
stress some people like to be told he can make it ,bad things will not happe
n while other ppl like to be told that failure is normal, and it is not a bi
g deal and it is not the end of world. I am the second type.

发帖数: 2836 | 10 my first few interviews were all in the morning, i woke up early like u and
waited, that was not a good feeling. But usually i feel easy after he starte
d to ask me questions. Good thing about phone interview is u can write down
the things u wanna say, bad thing is ,especially for chinese, it is hard to
communicate through the phone.

发帖数: 1385 | 12 谢谢大家，终于面完了，问了一些research，但是面试的人估计不是很懂。问了很多
behavior questions，感觉答的还算可以。屋里的信号不好，穿着睡裤和T shirt在门
口接的电话，冻的快不行了。这轮估计是个秘书之类的人。下一轮是HS的人，如果还能
有下一轮的话。 |

些非常typical behavior questions?
第一个问题是当你换到一个新的project，你会怎么做，会不会影响你的工作效率
你喜欢work alone or work in a team?
当你遇到困难的时候，你会不会不想找人帮忙？
列举一个这样的例子，你遇到困难，你是怎样找人帮忙解决的？
你是怎样和顾客打交道的（实在没有这个experience，即使在餐馆打过工也好啊）
当几件事情conflict的你是怎么choose priority的
忘了还有什么了，后面就是工资，时间还有future H1B的事情了
最后她都没有问我有什么question。
申请的是统计硕士的intern，我是生物的Ph.D. candidate
