Job responsibilities:
Work with epidemiologic researchers, including physicians and psychologists,
to perform programming and statistical analyses tasks on clinical data
collected as part of NIH, CDC, and foundation-funded research grants.
Assist faculty in designing and managing various simple and complex
databases in Microsoft Access, and Excel, including writing and executing
error-checking programs.
Develop programs for accessing data from existing databases, and merging
data from multiple sources.
Perform data analysis for various projects using SAS. Must be able to act
independently to generate statistical reports. Must be proficient in SAS.
Maintain PC and networked computers, in conjunction with Medical Center
Medical Information System Department.
Meet regularly with faculty and fellows to design and execute analyses.
