Use three different non-parametric regression methods to predict ozone
concentration. Additive models, regression trees and projection pursuit or
linear regression could be any of the three starting methods in your
analysis. Summarize your findings and present them, along with supporting
evidence, in your report which should be organized as stated above. Be sure
to evaluate the validity of your final models out of sample. That is, use v-
fold cross validation to estimate the out of sample prediction error. |
