我在美国一药厂工作，见到很多在外国拿到的医学学位的人，在我们公司都被称为MD,
我也是国内top 10 医学院临床专业毕业的，还在医院工作过几年，不知是否也可以在
名字后面加个MD? |

MD指的是 Doctor of Medicine
国内那个5年制的本科就是个BM （Bachelor of Medicine）
造假也要注意rp问题

考board的不在少数，连TMD的护校的现在自称MD。。。
人家就是这么跟我说的。。。

我们公司的一些medical director就是上医大，无锡医学院之类的国内院校毕业的，
我没问过别人是否在这里考了board.

可是正式的地方，比如公司上市时的公开信息，比如非常准确，不是Medical Doctor
Degree，绝对不能说是。如果是国内的医学院的学士毕业，只能说是M.B.，不能说M.D.。
严格的讲，即使是经过的了board certificate之后的那个doctor title，不是叫博士
（doctor），而是大夫（physician）. |

If you send your information to an education evaluation organization in the USA, you will definitely get an equivalent degree of Medical Doctor since the medical courses are the same in both China and the USA. This is why all Chinese Bachelors of Medicine can say they are MD in the USA. However, you must say your degree is the Bachelor of Medicine if you are in China or the Great British of England or any other countries that just provide a bachelor degree in medical education. So, the Chinese bachelor of medicine is so lucky in the USA.
Many people are DUJI on this matter. They might regret why their parents don't send them to a medical college in China. |

Medicine in the USA.
A MD can do a postdoc's job as well as a general research, but a bachelor or
master in any other fields cannot. A Chinese BM can be accepted to do a
postdoc's job. This is why all Chinese BM in the USA call them MD.

It is a professional doctorate / first professional degree (qualifying
degree) in some countries, including the United States and Canada, although

having obtained a Bachelors Degree. In other countries, such as the United
Kingdom, Germany and India, the MD is an advanced academic research degree

，所以不太敢随便加这个title.

you feel comfortable. As a statistician, I think MS, MBBS would be fine. If
you want to move up to a regulatory officer or medical officer, you may
consider taking the board exam w/o going through the residency. |

景然后pass board的医生在美国也不少，如果挂着一个MD的虚名又没有执照，业内人除
了嘲笑你的本科教育有水分而且天分和努力又不够之外，还能有啥看法？
这样自称MD，可能会蒙得住极少数外行老百姓，大部分美国脑残老百姓还是会看不起接
受过外国医学教育的人的，即使你有执照。请参见绝望主妇歧视菲律宾医生的八卦。
其实还有一个类比的例子--在国内拿了个法硕，来这边能不能自称JD？LLM也成？
