no more than 50k, and it is also very hard when they try to look for other
jobs.

因为学校的经验不算industry experience
你只能说自己有什么 * yrs sas programmer/statitical analysis experience
并且从non-profit h1b跳出去身份会有很大限制
不过还是看人的啦
我知道不少人跳出去的
大不了就是去和fresh MS竞争同样的职位

说白了，ms level的statistican 高不成，低不就。还不如sas prorammer的工资。 |

一点都不影响他们比我挣得多，
当然经验也是一个因素。
不过话说回来，
给我同样多的时间，
抢到类似的位置也不容易。

If you are talking about education or pharm industry, I agree.
If you are talking about bank industry, I doubt it. Actually lots of the
department manager in commercial bank like credit manager,operation manager,
analytic manager are statistical backgound in commercial bank even they are
master level statistician in the beginning. In bank, ms level statistician
will finally have same pay like PHD level in 5-10 years because people need
statistical analysis and statistical model but more business common sense
here. (Also more Econ phd in modeling part than Stat in CB)
Usually the online salary is only for the H1B or GC petition purpose and don
't have lots of senior level position data. This will skew the sample and
confuse people.
