1.先是名词解释。我是contractor, 我的雇主是staffing company （像是中介）,
client是使用我的服务并付钱的人。对吧？
2.如何签订我与雇主的合同以及如何终止呢？我和client有什么责权利的关系么？
3. 没活时还要给雇主交钱么（保险费不算）？能自己找活么？
4.身份问题如何解决？例如说OPT，没活儿时算失业期么？怎么保证最少每周20小时工
作量？
5.Smith Hanley Consulting Group 是个可靠的雇主么？

is not easy to get an contractor job now for a fresh graduate.
Smith Hanley is a good employer, it can sponsor your H1B.
If contract is ending, they will send you to another client for interview.
If you can not get the offer, you have to go. That is how the word "contract
" is defined.
If you are daniu (which means you can always get the offer) and do not like
to stay at the same working environment for
a long time, contract job is better for you 1) higher payment 2) can change
working environment from time to time. If you are in a big city, you do not
need to move.

发帖数: 110 | 5 SHCG (a stuffing company) asks me to sign employment agreement with them
before the the client's interview, which does not guarantee an offer. Once I
signed the agreement, it will be may sole agency for job hunting (or
assignment).
My biggest concern to this policy is the unemployment time since I'm on OPT
now. There will be idle time for sure -- employed by SHCG but no job to do.
Will this be counted as unemployment or underemployment (minimum 20 hrs/week
for OPT) according to USCIS's standard? Do I need to pay SHCG other than
insurance premium etc during this period?
In addition,how can I terminate the agreement with SHCG? Conditions and
penalties?

just means u wont submit ur resume again to the client from the third party

client.I always have the freedom to use other agencies for other clients who
are not connected with SHCG. Right?
In addition,the doc does not establish the employment between SHCG and me at
all, either. Only when the client and I both agree on the offer,I will be
hired by SHCG and placed to the client.Once this offer ends and I don't have
next one from SHCG's client,my employment with SHCG will be over. The
employment can also be stopped at will. Right?

说。同一个client，同一个职位，通过SH也许比那些烂的agency多5000到10000，可见
其他烂的agency有多黑。
你当前的职位结束后，他们会给你推荐其他client的职位去面试，如果不成，会给你推
荐另外的client，要你老面试通不过，他们最后会把你想破抹布一样的甩出去。没办法，
所有的agency都这样，资本家没有仁慈的，赚不到钱没有人是活雷锋。
好好准备面试，你现在离offer还很远，good luck!

去年说offer 我一个position, 20$/hour
今年看到他们贴IT类的，25到30 $ / hour
在三番downtown 这是人拿的钱吗？生物tech 在学校都至少4万5万with full benefit

发帖数: 110 | 10 问题确实是多了些。一大原因是我还得考虑OPT Extension. 目前SH给我的活是3个月合
同。即使我能接下来，等做完时也该延期OPT了。如果那个时候我没有下一个合同，SH
就会把我甩出去，那我的延期可能就砸了。
在这儿顺便澄清一下对OPT Extension的疑惑。如果我的现任雇主是E-Verified的，我
递交了延期申请，USCIS收到并开始了initial check；但我就在这个阶段被解雇了，那
USCIS还能批准我的申请么？Or put in English: if I'm unemployed (still within
that 90 days limit though) during the OPT extension pending,can I still get
the extension approved?
