biotech company (totally not relavent to what I will do in google). I think
I was considered a new graduate hire. I'm in pittsburgh now so it is good
that I do not need to move.

One question: what would be a good starting date so that I could get my H1b
transferred before I start? Does anyone know usually how long the visa team
need to get you transferred?

关于你的Visa，你要跟google的律师去问
理论上来说当律师把所有材料发给USCIS，然后USCIS给你发receipt no.的
时候，你就可以legally start to work for google. 但是不同公司有不同的
policy，有的公司必须得等到approval下来才行。所以你的start date取决于
律师能有多快给你发h1b transfer application和google的policy

投简历过了3个月才有recruiter找我，估计是因为我简历比较烂吧。
然后安排电面，电面过了两天我发信问update，然后就安排了第二次电面，又过两天问
update，安排onsite。
onsite面试从早上10点半到下午2:30，12点到1点是午饭，其余时间4次45分钟技术面，
除了一组是2人面的，其他都是单人面试。主要问的都是统计的基础问题，需要现场在
白板上做题。整个过程很紧凑，基本没什么空闲时间闲聊。
回来之后的下周一得到消息通过hiring committee，然后要reference，再过两周给了
