Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Data Manager (CDM) who will serve as the Lead
Clinical Data Manager across studies and liaison between Clinical Research,
Data Management, and Statistical Analyses. This position works with minimal
supervision in consort with the in-house management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (fundamental job duties):
1. Management of all aspects of clinical data collection and maintain the
quality of clinical database.
2. Participate and assist in presentations/discussions to Senior
Management
3. Perform data queries for data clarification and/or data analyses
4. Perform clinical database management activities which include
supervising/doing data entry workload; conducting data verification, data
revision and data queries; maintain clinical database such as keeping
patient enrollment and Data Clarification Forms (DCFs); overseeing database
audit.
5. Work with Clinical Research and Senior Statistician(s) developing data
checking rules.
6. Assist in designing clinical studies which include designing clinical
study case report forms (CRFs) and creating data review plan, for both paper
CRF’s and EDC systems.
7. Assist in clinical study data collection such as reviewing CRFs per
Study Data Review Plant and prepare DCFs.
8. Work with Clinical Research and Senior Statistician(s) preparing
periodical data reports such as enrollment report, severe adverse reports,
and study endpoints findings as appropriate for the studies.
9. Communicate with Clinical Research team and Statistical Service
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or higher in a science-related field or equivalent relevant
experience.
Familiar with word processing, spread sheet, and presentation software.
Experience with database software such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Access.
Knowledge of basic statistical methods or programs is a plus.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Computer efficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Professional manner, proficiency, attention to detail, exceptional
organizational skills.
Ability to work independently without supervision and within a team setting.
Excellent group leadership skills.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent ability to communicate in both written and verbal manner.
Other:
Estimated travel: Up to 10%. Will include international travel therefore
candidates cannot have travel restrictions. | w**y
