implementing financial services statistical models as well as creating
analytical solutions using the latest statistical and data science

interpretation, implementation and support of different types of statistical
models. Consult with clients on the use of mathematical statistics,
assessing modeling needs and defining project scope. Apply programming
skills to make use of computer intensive analysis techniques. Use knowledge
of credit card business to address a range of real-world issues and to solve
business problems. Independently extracts and transforms data for use in
analysis. Work with increasing autonomy on requests/projects of complex
statistical/business/research issues. Consult on financial services and
insurance-related business, regulatory and public policy issues. ???
Knowledge/Experience and Skills Required: Academic background in
quantitative disciplines and methodologies such as applied and computational
statistics, text and data mining, artificial intelligence, econometrics,
operations research, psychometrics, experimental design, multivariate
analysis, measurement theory, multidimensional scaling, combinatorial data
analysis, hierarchical linear models, structural equation models, decision
theory, time series analysis and cluster analysis at a level acquired
through post-graduate education. Experience in creating and applying
statistical modeling and analysis in one or more of the following areas
preferred: - Decisioning models for life cycle of credit card lending,
deposits and collections. - Design of Experiments - Optimization - Text
Mining - Model Independent Review - Consumer Propensity to Buy and Best
Messaging
Knowledge of and experience with at least one major computer programming
language or advanced syntax in a major statistical package. (SAS preferred.)
Experience using FCRA-governed consumer data sources desired (credit
reports, CLUE etc.). Your ongoing professional development is encouraged
