and a research institution (RI):
How your checks are funded:
- CRO makes their own money.
- RI gets money from government/other fundings.
How the work is appreciated:
- CRO provides services to pharmaceutical companies.
- RI focuses on publications to promote knowledge.
Stablity
- CRO spreads risks among diffrent companies.
- RI spreads risks among different parties (D vs. R)
Transferability of knowlege and skills
- 10 yrs CRO experiences will attract many private companies.
- 10 yrs RI experiences will ... ? I don't know.
Comfortability:
- CRO provides you a battlefield.
- RI provides a Cruise to Merry Land .... |

于CRO, 工作时间可能还更短。
如果是master, 感觉academic上升空间很小。 |
