Responsibilities:
1. Researching and developing various modeling approaches, incorporating
multiple inputs and modeling techniques; produce monthly forecasts for
various metrics
2. Employing advanced statistical techniques for analyzing data (e.g.,
regression analysis, decision trees, time series etc.)
3. Interface with various stakeholders within asset performance, credit risk
, finance and strategy and analytics organizations to provide timely and
accurate analysis and information as needed
4. Perform portfolio analytics, special projects and other duties as
assigned
5. Establishing and creating clear documentation and governance of the
quantitative framework, to include the statistical methodologies and models
employed and the rationale for all assumptions underpinning the framework
Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or related field
2. Candidate should possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving
skills
3. Minimum 3 years of practical experience working with large datasets with
advance SQL knowledge
4. Advanced knowledge of SAS programming (similar statistical tools) and MS
Excel
5. Expert knowledge in statistical techniques (Generalized linear modeling,
Time Series, Decision Trees, Factor analysis experimental design, regression
analysis, hypothesis testing, and/or advance techniques)
6. Quick learner and has demonstrated ability to initiate, develop and
execute small to medium scale projects
7. Candidate must have strong attention to detail
8. Work well within a team of analysts and collaborate with individuals with
technical and non-technical backgrounds
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability
to effectively present technical material for technical as well as non-
technical personnel
Preferred:
1. Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, decision
sciences, mathematics, economics, operations research or similar)
2. Strong experience and knowledge of consumer financing industry (e.g. auto
, card, mortgage etc.)
3. Expert knowledge in developing analysis queries and procedures in SQL,
SAS, BI tools or other analysis software |
