The Associate Health Economist/Health Economist conducts specific HEOR
studies across the entire client portfolio. In addition, the incumbent also
coordinates internal collaborations including but not limited to real world
evidence (RWE) analytics, staff meetings, methodology review, external
alliance.
Responsibilities:
• Perform real world data analyses: Performs analyses for projects
based on multiple types of healthcare databases to support project delivery.
• Participate key strategic initiatives across the entire company
portfolio such as product strategy, HEOR methodologies and policy for the
China and global market.
• Coordinate across projects: Supports all analyses of the HEOR
data, HEOR model review and development.
• Support HEOR research publication: Works closely with HEOR
researchers as a member of the research team to develop research
publications.
Required Skills:
• Master's degree in appropriate field required (e.g., applied
mathematics, epidemiology, statistics/biostatistics, computer science or
health economics), PhD preferred.
• At least 1-5 years experience of analytic research in clinical
and business decision making; analytic experience on real world data & big
data preferred.
• Strong analytic skills using SAS and/or R and other statistical
analysis software. Working knowledge of python or other programming language
is preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Strong business acumen and a team player
• Works well under pressure, with initiative to take on unfamiliar
tasks
• Fluent in English and Chinese
Job location:
This position will be located in WPP Health and Wellness Shanghai Office (
399 Hengfeng Rd, WPP Campus, Shanghai). 10-15% of International travel may
be required.
