比如expired covered call, date acquired 填option expired date, cost basis
为 0？
这种情况下我的1099表只有卖出记录，
同样， buy to open call/put 也没有卖出记录
填0还是不填？ 不填Turbo Tax认为是错误... | l**********o

Yes, cost basis is 0 for short options. You should actually use the sell
date for date acquired and expiry date as date sold.

It's a pain to collect all those data. I just think based on 1099-B can
finish everything.
