Why would anyone immigrate to US while the ship is sinking? This will be

Dude, what does that ever increasing abysmal pile of debt in the size of
tens of trillions tell you? That's TENS of TRILLIONS, mind you. And they
don't have any honest means to pay it off.

历史上美国经济比现在更让人恐慌和悲观的时候不止一次，不都过来了。美国经济每20
年一次大波动，是规律，无需过渡惊慌。只要美元还没垮，美国舰队还在四处游荡，让
美国陷入深度衰退是不可能的。美国如果被逼急了下狠手，在世界上随便打个劫，它的
棋就活了，美国有这个能力。其实美国经济现在的最大问题就是金融，o8如果能把金融
这个毒瘤给割了，将会史上留名，并会救活美国。o8好像也有这个能力，因为他已经做
了一件历史上多人想做而没做成的事-医疗改革。这个法案好坏不说，至少说明o8能逆
势做大事。o8下一个目标就是规范金融秩序，当然看起来阻力似乎比医疗改革还大，但
他未必就做不成。至少他已经说了会veto一切新的金融衍生品法案。后面这段日子，话
街的日子不会好过，这是好事。

1. Tens of trillions (and growing) debt and liability.
2. Government adding more welfare burden (UHC) and tax (cap & trade).
3. 70% of GDP coming from consumption.
4. Having hollowed out majority of its manufacture capacity.
5. Perennial budget deficit projected for this decade alone.
6. Perennial trading deficit.
Should it be any other nation, you'd agree with me already. US is a modern
day Rome empire about to collapse. |

2. A person will die eventually doesn't mean that person will die tomorrow.
3. When do you plan to short the market, tomorrow, one month later, or ten
years later? If you're confident about your prediction, the best way for
easy money is to short the market with all your 401k account for a decade
from now on. However, don't be surprised when you see your 401k becomes 014k
a decade later.
