Investment demand and the steady depletion of Russian state stockpiles
are likely to bring the palladium market into balance in 2010, analysts said
UK investment bank Barclays said in a report Thursday.
"Despite an expected increase in supply, we believe strong growth in
investment demand, coupled with the possible exhaustion of Russian state
supplies has the potential to balance the market in 2010, and even drive it

industry for CO2 reduction. The rest is used in jewellery and other areas.
As auto industry in China is growing rapidly, it is expected the demand for
palladium will increase correspondingly.
