The criticisms of Chanos' argument sure do not seem to be fact based. All I
hear is, "China is different," "he doesn't understand China," and that "
western metrics do not matter because China is centrally planned." Needless
to say, these arguments could have been clipped from the pages of the US
five years ago. And the vigor and venom with which Chanos is being attacked
makes me quite confident that he will proven correct soon. |
