After divorcing in June 1974, the couple reconciled and secretly remarried
16 months later in Chobe National Park in Botswana. Their second marriage,
however, was short-lived, and the couple divorced for a second time less
than a year after the ceremony. Although no longer man and wife, the two
would remain steadfast friends until Burton's death in 1984. Today, years
after his death, Taylor wants the world to know the place Burton continues
to hold in her heart, stating, "From those first moments in Rome, we were
