Todays strike in Shanghai left three dead, seven injured. Police also had seven officers injured.
We received news of the trucker strike in the Waigaoqiao zone in Shanghai on
the morning of April 20. This is just the latest in large-scale protests in
Shanghai that further illustrates rising social unrest.
The protests the morning of April 20 were in one of Shanghai’s busiest
container ports and they were the result of rising fuel prices and low wages

我的意思是说，咱们大部分人往前推算三代的话，祖先都是工人和农民。
这些司机无非就是他们家族进化的运气不比我们好，但也相当于我们外公外婆那个时代
的职业了。
虽然咱们在外面高枕无忧，但对他们的待遇过低也应有点同情心。就像我姥姥那个年代
也有学生运动，那时候也有什么留美的比如宋美龄家族的，如果我姥姥单位为了几块钱
不公待遇而罢工，宋氏家族对着9寸电视的新闻冷笑，唉，，，，
