mostly play gold and silver
used to observe gold/silver ratio as it seems to give some indication of
where market will go. I guess that silver is a very small and volitile
market. Its rise and fall is a barometer where liquidity is moving in the
market. But silver is highly manipulated so it is not easy to gauge.
I recently observed this gold/copper or copper/gold ratio and it seems a
very good indicator. But I did not find many discussions on the web. Here
is one I found

The demonstration is quite clear.
Think it about this way, gold is money and copper is goods. gold outperforms
copper indicates liquidity goes to the money and this is a deflation signal;
copper outperforms gold indicates liquidity goes to the goods and it is an
inflation signal.
