how about stop orders? Anyone?
I'm using scottrade. | s***7 发帖数: 1644 | | n**********d 发帖数: 270 | 3 This is an excerpt from a thread in the tradeking forum:
"The stop limit order also offers you a little added protection in case your
short position makes unexpected gains in the after market. If you only had
a stop in place and the security open above your stop, you would be filled
at the open at potentially an unexpected high price. If you use the stop
limit, you can ensure that even if the security opens above your stock, you
still only execute at a price you are willing to accept. If you have any
further questions, feel free to give us a call."
It does not answer your question in full, nor does it necessarily apply for
Scottrade. Someone else should probably chime in on this. | s***7 发帖数: 1644 | 4 thanks for the effort :)
