Yahoo may be for sale: report saysYahoo sent out an email to its entire
personnel on Friday night updating them that the company is guardedly
believing and receiving lots of offers and deals from a numbers of
businesses, signifying that Yahoo might be sold or it will be going for an
agreement approaching merger or acquisition.
The world’s leading search engine, Yahoo is open to offers from “multiple
parties”, according to a latest reports from co-founder Jerry Yang.
The company has not mentioned offers from undisclosed parties according to
the report sent to Yahoo staffers, which has been observed by Bloomberg.
The information of email describes that it had hired by Allen & Company, a
leading investment banking firm, was less then obvious on what, accurately,
the little phrase prospect holds for the company but it was apparent

The email also explained that the investment banking firm will assist Yahoo
sort through “inquiries from numerous businesses that have already uttered
