自己帐上有钱就可以无限性交易。我一直以为有这样的限制，本来想分批买入同一股票

that means, u could use full buying power of ur acct every 3 days.
that would be terrible for day trading strategy.
so cash acct is only good for long term and swing. |

发帖数: 48111 | 10 sold a stock, u could purchase at anytime, but u may only sell the stock
after the 1st transaction settled, generally 3 days, i.e. the 4th day.
otherwise, the violation could cause ur acct frozen for 90 days.
buy a stock then sold it the same day, that counts as pattern day trading, u
can only use the fund from the transaction after 3 days settlement.

yes, you can dt no matter what type of account you have, however, unless
your account value>=25k (all time), you can not dt (including option) more than 3 times in any five consecutive business day period,this is a focking sec regulation.

nothing happen.I can keep day trading as long as I use settled fund.
The fact is PDT rule apply to margin account only.

citation from above (read them all):
If you will be buying stocks and selling them in the same day, you should
make yourself familiar with "Day Trading" rules. A "Day Trade" is when you
buy and sell a stock in the same day. Holding the position overnight before
selling it is not considered day trading.
With a cash account you can place "day trades", but there are limitations.
You cannot place more than 3 "day trades" in any 5 consecutive business days
, otherwise you will be considered a "Pattern Day Trader".
The last thing you want to happen is place more than 3 day trades within 5
consecutive days and have your cash account suspended. If this happens, some
brokers will allow a one time occurrence to get by, otherwise your account
can be restricted from trading for 90 days.

Once you are considered a "pattern day trader", you are required to open a
Margin Account and have a minimum of $25,000 in your account. To read more
