READING THE MARKET
Stocks continued to march to higher as break out stock holding up well and
move higher while the indexes were consolidating in healthy fashion. And
institutions were still putting money to work. On Wednesday, the Fed would
let the interest rate holding at their current low level until 2014 which
has sparked the rally, and on Friday there were divergence on the index, Dow
was pulling back while Nasdaq going higher. Another constructive note is
that Gld and Slv found support at the 50-day line with volume signature. At
this moment all investors should do is sit tight and buy should fundamental
stock that are breaking out, and forget what the pundit says about the
market while paying attention to the price volume on the market as the train
is leaving.
SPECIAL NOTE – During earnings season many traders will hold only a small
portion of their positions into an announcement (if they are acting well),
or none at all, to reduce the great volatility risk associated with those
announcements.
