Bought it 2 years ago when it was listed on the Pink sheet
now finally moved to NYSE
Its streaming model is to fund junior miners who have financing troubles
and bring them into production. In return, they will get a certain amount
of the gold/silver from the mine at a fixed low price every year.
the streaming model seems very successful as it outperformed gold miners
quite a bit. Two bigger brothers are SLW and RGLD, both have been doing
relatively well comparing to direct miners. |

They got Primero (PPP) in a deal that they can buy silver for $4 from
Primero. Even PPP has already doubled from its low on its massive cash
flow. You can imagine how much milk SLW can squeeze from similar cash
cows down the road.
btw, SAND's founder was SLW's former CFO. No wonder he copied the model
pretty well

its new bought deal financing of $130 MM will allow it to milk
larger projects down the road
this is a stock you should own if you like gold

after the tax ruling, now the market can recognize how much PPP is really
worth
