Oh faint, after reading the reviews, I found it emission pretty strong.
PVC is harmful to kids.

We have this mat. Our main problem with it is that it still emits a chemical
smell after weeks of use. To test it yourself, put a large bowl upside down
on the mat overnight so that no air can escape out. Remove it in the
morning and immediately smell the inside of the bowl. You'll be surprised by
the strength of the chemical smell (smells like gasoline). Whatever that
chemical is, it keeps emitting into your house continuously. And if your
child spends long periods of time on the mat, he/she is exposed to it the
most. Until more tests are done, or healthystuff.org tests this product, I
don't believe the manufacturer's claim of this mat being non-toxic. I plan
to only use it occasionally outdoors in our balcony.
PS: take the raving reviews here with a grain of salt. This product is
manufactured in Korea, and guess what, many reviews on Amazon have Korean
names (Disclaimer: I personally have nothing against Koreans -- I have lots
of Korean friends). It also ships from Seattle, and voila, many reviews are
from Seattle. Their page on the well-known social networking site is
monitored so if you end up asking a question that they don't like, they
immediately erase your question. If you examine the posted questions more
carefully, they are mostly soft-ball ones from several users with Korean
names.

retardants, but since mats aren’t sold with ingredient lists, here’s how
to go about choosing the safest one for your kids:
• Look for a mat made from a natural material, like natural latex (
which comes from a rubber plant, not petroleum). If you can’t find one
specifically marketed for children, use a natural rubber yoga mat.
•Think outside the box. Who needs foam? Untreated cotton rag rugs can

Got these earlier this year. Very happy with them, thought my daughter loves
to pull out the letters and chew on them. Now Im realy concered because i
just read that foam mats are being banned in Europe due to cancer causing
chemicals in the foam.
我刚看了好多信息，
的确太厉害了，甲醛，苯酚什么乱七八糟的含量都挺高超标。
我现在放弃了，开始选用布做的花色鲜艳的垫子，然后多买几块拼在一起。
