/sales. Those blindly buying and selling based on someone's watch list are
destined to lose anyway, with or without IBD. |

几年前lulu 有一周表现不好从 No.2位置 消失 (不是rank下降)
下周表现好 又出现在No.2

cherry-picked by some expert.
Let's say the algorithm will choose stocks that meet the following
requirements:
1) EPS >= 90 and 2) RS >= 90
Among the candidates, it will sort, let's say, based on composite rating
from 99 down. All hypothetically speaking.
If LULU has an RS=90, because of high composite=99, it could be ranked no. 2
in one week, but could disappear next week because RS drop to 89, and will
come back to no. 2 once RS is back above 90. Something like that...

。一个gap down早把你追高的利润搞掉了，还要倒贴。
举个例子，EDU是价格过了23块才被IBD列上去的。股版的大众早在15，16块就意识到上
升趋势了。IBD的反应也太慢了点吧。
ARUN曾经是IBD的pick，5月份连续来个2个大的gap down，跌掉将近50%。
还有lulu也是。
很多股版的热门股都是在高位被列上去的。很多有潜力的好股在IBD上的accumulation
都是D或E。比如，NOK在今年3块多时，IBD的accumulation评级是D，那个季度正好是
Dodge&Cox大量加仓的时候，后来新闻都有所报道的。
个人感觉，IBD的pick一般只能做中短线，且只适合大牛。很多时候，跟IBD反着做能赚
钱。

ibd就是个工具 一天各种list上的pick有好几百 有可以long的 可以short的 必
有一款适合你
你上ibd网站上 甚至可以看到七千个pick
好像没人说google finance的pick好还是不好

candidates and sell when they are off the list.
Also, O'Neil teaches a holistic method of investing in high-growth stocks.
How one expects to use IBD50 for bargain hunting is beyond me. Stocks like
NOK will likely never be listed on IBD50. The stock could be very profitable
if you know how to trade it, but it's not CANSLIM. For stocks like LULU, if
you bought it at proper buy point after it was listed, the chances are that
you should've made very good profits. When you buy it months (if not years)
after a huge run, try to stomach a 50% drop, and whining about IBD's poor
selection, the results are pretty much expected. |
