Lululemon Athletica Inc. (LULU) and SodaStream International Ltd. (SODA) on
Monday triggered the Nasdaq Stock Market's circuit breakers, which are meant
to protect stocks from short-seller manipulation. Shares of Intercept
Pharmaceuticals dropped 19% as investors digested a report that patients in
the company's liver-drug clinical trial saw more abnormal cholesterol levels
than those in the control group. Shares of Lululemon tumbled 17% after the
yoga-apparel maker cut its fiscal fourth-quarter . SodaStream shares tumbled
22% after it said it fourth-quarter profit targets.
