BEIJING, May 13 (Reuters) - Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will sign aircraft,
currency and agricultural deals when he visits South America next week, an
official said on Wednesday, a part of the world where China has deep trade
ties but traditionally limited political influence.
Li will travel to Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Chile on the May 17-29 trip,
and, as is common with visits by top Chinese leaders to resource-rich
nations, will sign what will likely be a series of impressive agreements.
China, the world's second-largest economy, is buying oil from Venezuela,
copper from Peru and Chile and soybeans from Argentina and Brazil, for
example. Peru and Chile also both have free trade deals with China, and
Colombia is looking at one.
In return, China has invested a total of more than $100 billion as of the
end of last year, according to Assistant Chinese Commerce Minister Tong
Daochi.
"During Premier Li's visit to these four countries, we will discuss
important issues like industrial cooperation, infrastructure, free trade
zones, technical economic cooperation, training and financial support," Tong
told reporters.
"We expect that through further deepening this cooperation, China and Latin
America will join hands to promote global prosperity and recovery."
Giving a flavor of what would be agreed, Tong said that China and Chile
would sign currency swap and yuan settlement agreements, while in Brazil
there would be a Brazilian beef export deal.
In January, Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged $250 billion in investment
in Latin America over the next 10 years as part of a drive to boost resource
-hungry China's influence in a region long dominated by the United States.
Last year, China and Brazil agreed $7.5 billion in financing for Brazilian
miner Vale SA and the purchase of 60 passenger jets from planemaker Embraer.
Without naming Embraer, Tong said that aviation would be another focus area
for Li in Brazil.
"On this visit by Premier Li, we will discuss further purchases and
cooperation with Brazil on aviation," he said.
China would like to import more value-added products from Latin America,
Tong added, rather than just relying on raw materials such as iron ore,
sugar and soy beans.
"We hope that Latin American countries, particularly these four, can develop
the Chinese market more, and export more products which suit Chinese
consumers," he said.

也不是

VALE股性太活，上下都很猛，上次2月初7-8满仓入，满眼是泪啊，很占用资金。
不过捂了两个月，8.X的时候跑掉了。
这次手贱7.6X,7.1X继续捞，如果不止跌的话打算跑掉了，也许会测试前面的低点5.45.

上周三最高9.14，这周三7.12， 一周时间就被砸下来25%， 这个庄家实在是太狠了。
我做波段部分上周三看到形势不对8.68跑掉了，这周一没人住7.6就捡回来了，昨天7.
15又捡回部分，感觉还是耐心不够，原本上周卖掉的时候根据最高9.14，最低5.45，第
一回调点7.7附近，第二回调点7.2附近，第三回调点6.8附近。
要是能够耐心等到第二个回调点就好了。今天早上往下砸的时候应该是个好的入点，风
险比较低，设5%的止损应该比较好操作。

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of Brazilian iron ore producer Vale (VALE -
Get Report) were flat at $7.11 in early afternoon trading Thursday after
peer company BHP Billiton (BHP) defended its strategy of increasing iron
ore output during a global oversupply.
The company stood by its approach even as iron ore prices have declined
approximately 40% in the past 12 months.
"This is a market which is highly competitive. It's cyclical, and so our
performance will be dependent on being the most efficient supplier and it
shouldn't be dependent on supply restraint," BHP iron ore marketing VP Alan
Chirgwin said at a conference, according to Bloomberg.
Chirgwin added that global iron ore supply could grow by 100 million to 110
million metric tons this year, but demand is only estimated to grow by 30
million to 40 million metric tons. He also noted that "supply growth over
the last 12 months has outpaced demand growth and that will keep pressure on
prices next year."
Separately, TheStreet Ratings team rates VALE SA as a Sell with a ratings
score of D. TheStreet Ratings Team has this to say about their
recommendation:
"We rate VALE SA (VALE) a SELL. This is driven by a few notable weaknesses,
which we believe should have a greater impact than any strengths, and could
make it more difficult for investors to achieve positive results compared to
most of the stocks we cover. Among the areas we feel are negative, one of
the most important has been a generally disappointing historical performance
in the stock itself."
Highlights from the analysis by TheStreet Ratings Team goes as follows:
◾VALE's stock share price has done very poorly compared to where it
was a year ago: Despite any rallies, the net result is that it is down by 42
.15%, which is also worse that the performance of the S&P 500 Index.
Investors have so far failed to pay much attention to the earnings
improvements the company has managed to achieve over the last quarter.
Although its share price is down sharply from a year ago, do not assume that
it can now be tagged as cheap and attractive. The reality is that, based on
its current price in relation to its earnings, VALE is still more expensive
than most of the other companies in its industry.
◾The return on equity has improved slightly when compared to the same
quarter one year prior. This can be construed as a modest strength in the
organization. Compared to other companies in the Metals & Mining industry
and the overall market on the basis of return on equity, VALE SA
underperformed against that of the industry average and is significantly
less than that of the S&P 500.
◾VALE SA reported significant earnings per share improvement in the
most recent quarter compared to the same quarter a year ago. The company has
demonstrated a pattern of positive earnings per share growth over the past
year. However, we anticipate underperformance relative to this pattern in
the coming year. During the past fiscal year, VALE SA increased its bottom
line by earning $0.13 versus $0.01 in the prior year. For the next year, the
market is expecting a contraction of 107.7% in earnings (-$0.01 versus $0.
13).
◾VALE's debt-to-equity ratio of 0.67 is somewhat low overall, but it
is high when compared to the industry average, implying that the management
of the debt levels should be evaluated further. Regardless of the somewhat
mixed results with the debt-to-equity ratio, the company's quick ratio of 0.
85 is weak.
◾Regardless of the drop in revenue, the company managed to outperform
against the industry average of 18.2%. Since the same quarter one year prior
, revenues fell by 15.7%. The declining revenue has not hurt the company's
bottom line, with increasing earnings per share.
