Commission said Wednesday that it is aware of the ongoing market volatility.
The regulator said it is collaborating with other regulators to evaluate the
situation and "review the activities of regulated entities, financial
intermediaries and other market participants."
The agency issued the statement in response to several stocks seeing
significant upside moves as a result of short squeezes initiated by retail
