发帖数: 1 | 1 No need to wait half year, download w-7 form from www.irs.gov first, check
rquired materials, which is listed on w-7, bring them, walk in local office,
hand in w-7 form.
In rare case, they don't accept your w-7 form if applicant's presence in US is
less than 3 months or so, just try again. Once they accept the form, normally
you need to wait 6-8 weeks.
