发帖数: 12 | 5 The filing status is determined by your marital status at the end of the
year. For example, for 2009 tax year, it is based on your marital status as
of December 31, 2009. If you got married in 2010, then for 2009 tax year,
you will file as "Single", while for 2010 tax year, you will have the choice
of "Married Filing Jointly" (MFJ) or "Married Fiiling Seperately" (MFS). In
general, MFJ gives you the best overall tax resultes.
