通过中信代签，希望那时候能收回护照原件并寄回国内。
他们大约八九月份来美国，可以那时候到local IRS 验证护照，再file 1040X, W7吗？
就是说过了退税的季节还可以办理ITIN吗？ |

的可能，不过从本版其他网友的经验看可能性应该很小吧。
用1040x办理论上可行，但不同地方执行起来比较混乱，你可以先去你本地的office问
问非报税季节还办不办。 |

Original documents you submit will be returned to you at the mailing address
shown on your Form W-7. You do not need to provide a return envelope.
Applicants are permitted to include a prepaid Express Mail or courier
envelope for faster return delivery of their documents. The IRS will then
return the documents in the envelope provided by the applicant. If your
original documents are not returned within 60 days, you can call the IRS (
see Telephone help above). If you will need your documents for any purpose
within 60 days of submitting your ITIN application, you may wish to apply in
person at an IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center. See Where To Apply, later.

ITIN，我们有放PREPAID usps envelope. |
