At the web, it says "COVID19 Penalty Cancellation Request". If I apply,
what excuses can it be deemed proper? Any previous cases for suggestion?

发帖数: 259 | 3 Just got approval. To benefit other MITBBSers, I list my evidences as below:
1.) I used the notice of office closure and said that all the info were left
in the office;
2.) I used my kid school close and I am single parent to take care, thus no
time to think about payment;
3.) I also called the office and stated that I followed their instruction to
submit the files;
4.) I stated all the offices are closed during COVID-19, and assumed post
office closed as well.
Not much penalty, about $400. But it is worth to take back with minimal
efforts.
