A Tufts postdoc Wangwang Jiao passed away last Sunday. Wangwang was a
brilliant and brave young scientist, rising from a poor peasant family
in Shandong. He earned a Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua in 2006, and came
to Tufts Medical School as a Post Doc in Boston. In Apr. 2008 he was
detected a vicious cancer and passed away the past Sunday, at age of
29. He left behind 8-month-old twin boys, and a young wife who is
still attending school.
