Kinect的理想setup, XB LIVE 有Video 介绍， 以下是文字
Kinect Position: Center of the TV in regards to length, placed at either
the top of the screen or the bottom. Farther away from the TV's speakers
is best.
Player position: Farther is better, for optimal distance the player
should stand is 6 feet away from the sensor with at least 3 feet to move
left and right. The farther away you are, the more accurate the Kinect
can judge the depth of any part of your body. IE: you lift your arm out
fully extended, Kinect will judge the depth difference between your out
stretched hand and your face.
Ground recognition: The kinect will automatically tilt itself downwards
to scan the floor of the room as reference to the player and the
evironment of the game. You should clear the floor(clothes, books,
wires, video game cases etc...) so that only the floor and nothing else
is scanned for maximum accuracy. This also means that there should be no
furniture between your Kinect and yourself.
Room lighting: Consistent lighting(in terms of darkness or brightness)
throughout the house will improve the Kinect's sensory of the player.
Uneven lighting may cause your body to appear different to Kinect if you
move into brighter and darker sections of the room during play.
Audio recognition: Kinect will scan the background acoustics in the room
in order to more accurately recognize your voice. The more silent your
room is during this test, the more accurate Kinect's audio reception
will be. In addition, placing the Kinect near your TV's speakers or on
top of anything loud such as a sub woofer may cause interference and
decrease its accuracy.

planning on buying Kinect/Free Riders or just a Kinect in general. | t******g
