真的好失败. 以前遇人不淑, 认为我的前夫能干也帅, 虽然他只是个大专, 我这个本
科生毫不在乎我的大学同学的追求,就认定他了. 由于他形象不错, 给人感觉混得也不
错, 很快就有了小三, 那时我年轻气盛, 不肯委曲求全, 就离了. 因为我们住的房子是
他父母名下的, 所以离的时候房子也没有, 钱都转移了,因为他自己的小公司. 只是付
了8万的抚养费给孩子—那时孩子才2岁. 孩子成为我唯一的精神支柱, 为了给孩子一
个好的环境, 我努力工作, 升为部门经理, 也买了房子和车. 我也试着再婚, 因为我
儿子, 跟我条件不差上下的根本不可能. 倒是有在我们邻居单位的一个小伙子对我狂
追了一阵, 他的热情让我害怕. 他比我小, 我不敢接受因为我睹不起, 他虽然一无所
有,可是他年轻. 后来我随同事去欧洲(公干), 美国(旅游), 认识了现在的 | c**i

In my reply, I subtly suggested her to seek legal advice, which would be
comprehensive. One of the item to be examined is the so called prenuptial
agreement (In Massachusetts the legal term is "antenuptial agreement"),
which "fishmarket22" described this way in her original posting:
"后来我们签了协议, 不象别人签婚前协议书关于钱和房子, 我们是关于喝酒. (
compromise)一个月他可以喝两次. 后来就结婚了."
I had serious doubt about enforceability* of the agreement (when I wrote the

(1) Not just about penalty. I questioned yesterday about penalty, because NO
court in United States will uphold that, whatever the penalty, be it a
divorce or %500.
An American court--probably any court in the world--will not micromanage a
family. Chinese has a saying, which is popular at least in Taiwan: 清官難斷
家物事.
