随便一个master fresh刚毕业 就10w了。。
不过台湾企业也可以在大陆一样 pay得低低的工资 吸引“人才” |

biology guy, so I don't want to talk about it--simply because it is not my
specialty. I don't know, but Intel may not have a fab there. But it is not
important (it may have one in China's northeast).

目前intel政策就是，按照美国政府规定，
只要保持前2个最新的产品在美国做，其他的全部move到中国大陆去了....
INTEL的主要工厂和大多产品早已不在美国了..
而且intel的研发目前在中国已经越来越多了.
intel的先进在于他的工艺，AMD 差就差在工艺上
NVIDIA的主要工厂在中国深圳。

But what yu say can not be right.
"其他的全部move到中国大陆去了." The fab is being built in Dalian. Besides,
China constantly asks US, to no avail, to ease hi-tech export rules. If
there is no restriction, what is that for?
AMD is quitting chip business to focus on design. That is in my posting also.
nVidia has chips made in Taiwan and US.

前2个新产品开始的时候不会有很大的市场
一旦流行起来，马上move到中国去降低成本，大规模生产
美国生产线上的工人都是有工会的，工资可以高到10万美金，hehe 根本没优势
台湾的pc也来硅谷生产的话，只有归本的份
INTEL在大连，成都，深圳都有。
INTEL现在主要的不在大连，而是在成都。

Wherever Intel is in China, it is not making chips. I am puzzled why you are
so proud. Intel has a similar thing in Vietnam, too, after moving from
Malaysia. Malaysia did not improve because Intel used to has a branch there
(which did make some chips).

发帖数: 6973 | 11 Intel's revenue ($38 billion) in 2007 was about four times as much as Taiwan
Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (more than $10 billion). They are good
at both making chips and design. Anyway, TSMC is not a competitor, because
TSMC is a FOUNDRY.

posting.
I knew little about computer chips. A decade ago, I was fortunate to talk to
the founder of Analog Device, who was rich but looked and talked like
another ordinary person. (I did not know who he was and had not heard of his
company even if he mentioned, which he did not.) Mr. Ray Stata said that
TSMC, which his company relied on (but nobody told me about it then), was
about 18 months behind Intel. It is still so today
