My comment: If renminbi appreciation during the year is accounted for, the
fall "in value", if confirmed, will be larger than it appears to be.

My comment: Two percent (by value as measured by US dollars) is not much--of

Today Financial Times has an analysis which offers a big picture (of China
data) and therefore convinces me otherwise.
