in another nation to grow crops.
Early last year, I proposed China buys out Taiwan, after a referendum among
Taiwanese whether to take up the offer. Out of thin air, I suggested a price
tag, $2 billion, about the foreign exchange reserve at the time (since then
, China's reserved has dropped a little).
Two days ago (Saturday) there was an interesting discussion about the cost

situation.
Of course China's plan is if Pres. Ma Yong-jeou is president long enough,
Taiwan will fall into China the way a ripe apple falls to the ground. This
way, China won't pay a cent. The problem is a cheapskae gets nothing.
