My comment: Canadian courts, as well as Executive Branch, have seen the
evidence proferred by China. I assume it is flimsy, causing Canada to think
about adopting Mr. Lai. In the same vein, the evidence against former Pres.
Chen Shui-bian might not withstand scrutiny. As for Mr. 王又曾, the fugitive
tycoon from Taiwan who is now in US, the legal process to deport him will
take another year at least before becoming final, so it is hard to tell if
