US commerce Department testerday released Februray trade data, which showed
US trade deficit ($26bn) narrowed to its lowest in nine years. "The trade
deficit with China shrank sharply from January to February as imports from
China fell 23.7 percent," The report states.
My comment:
(a) A few months ago China insisted that what it exported to China were

, which stated in paragraph 2: "Exports fell 17 percent in March from a year
earlier." Thereafter, all March data were compared with the same month a
year ago, rather than with February.
