養育了21年的「蹦將」（Bon-chan）在大街上散步，這有什麼特別之處呢？
原來蹦將是一隻巨大的蘇卡達陸龜，重達70公斤。它還有讓汽車停下來的本領，倒不是
它擋了道，而是司機們看到它常會停車觀看或拍照。很多東京市民都熟識這一老一少，
因爲從銀座到月島這三里路，是他們固定的散步路線。

有時蹦將會身穿亮麗的專屬衣服，和三谷手提的包包配成「父子裝」。它喜歡吃蔬果，
市民們見到它，經常會用胡蘿蔔、菜葉等來招待它。

三谷久生經營著一家喪葬服務中心，蹦將是那裡的固定迎賓員，哀傷的老老少少在進門

「有人可能會說，在喪葬服務社的門口放一隻大烏龜，這太荒謬了；但即便人們很悲傷
，見到它都會露出微笑，所以我覺得讓它在那裡不是壞主意。」三谷久生接受法新社採
訪時說，20年前，妻子從寵物店把蹦將買回了家，「我知道它會長得很大，但沒想到能
長到這麼大」。
三谷沒有兒子，因此他和蹦將情同父子。「我們是這家裡僅有的男人。」他笑說。而三
谷也得到了一個綽號——「龜仙人」（kame sennin），不過他也說，自己不會像蹦將
那樣長壽，「我聽說這種烏龜可以活到80歲，所以我肯定會比他先走」。
