The paper looks perfect in PS. After the conversion to PDF, somehow the
content on each page is shifted upward. In the last page, the page number is
shifted to the upper board. What could be wrong?

可以改变一下dvips的设置，把letter写在a4前面，
查latex2e的帮助就行

发帖数: 1636 | 4 whatever you do, after you get your .dvi file, do the following:
dvips -o -t letter -f *.dvi > *.ps
this gives you the right ps file for pdf. then use
ps2pdf *.ps
this gives you the final pdf file with the right format
