1) TeXnicCenter is the best free editor on Windows, but it doesn't handle
unicode very well. Texmaker is better choice. WinEdt is the best commercial
editor on Windows, at least in my opinion.
2) TeXshop is the default one if you install MacTeX on your Mac. It works
pretty well with preview.
3) Emacs might be your uncle if you are on Linux. Auctex and include latex-
preview makes it a good choice for TeX users. The later version of Emacs
