around 10 yrs tennis without formal training are around stable 3.5.Some of
them can be 4.0, but when in game, it doesn't guarantee a win over a 3.5 due
to age problem.
Recently , I got many surprise to see many good players from mainland. One can
even be rated as a 4.5-5.0, but he is 25, I guess, because he just got his
master's degree.
And be reminded that the 1.0-7.0 rating is categoried within ages as well.

I say I have to agree with you.
some people still keep in shape, and they are on defense style.
I was trained to hit hard since the beginning, so I love the hitting
part much more than the running part.
look at Andre's game now, a lot of ball he just give up to save them!
so many times, young guys hit a running back/forehand winner againist him.
when i was 25 in college here. i used to hit with a college player from spain.
now. couple times i tried to hit with college
