，而且相比两代球王谁更强，似乎有太多人站在费德勒这一边。
但作为从90年代初就成为网球这项运动的忠实Fans的我，坚持认为现在的费德勒不如鼎
盛时期的桑普拉斯。
首先让我们看一下费德勒和桑普拉斯的技术比较。主要分以下几个技术和能力环节：发
球、接发球、正手底线、反手底线、步伐移动、上网截击、体能、心理素质，下面是我
对这两代球王的综合比较：

从上面比较可以看出，在接发球和正手底线两个技术环节，两人实力大致相当。发球环
节桑普拉斯明显比费德勒好，桑普拉斯在全盛期长期占据ATP ACE球榜的前三位，其发
球上网的打法更是依赖其凶狠快速的发球，费德勒的发球时速明显不如桑普拉斯，只是
稳定性和变化性还不错。反手底线我承认是费德勒要强于桑普拉斯 |

philipouses serve 40+ aces a game (and still lost at times) yes there were
more variety of players then.
i feel federer's got a better backhand. but no one could get close to Pete's
half volley. Pete's crisp and federer's smooth. if they play each other at
their prime, it'd be a coin toss. record-wise federer probably will achieve

Ivan, do you think he played better on grass than Roddick? Roddick owns the
same power serving and get better baseline skill.
Can Rafter's soft BH slice neutralize nowaday's hard hitting baseliner? I
really doubt.
On clay, isn't Nadal the best clay player in history?
When mentioning Becker and Edberg, don't forget they're not belong to the
same age as Pete.

但是问题是桑的打法很容易受伤，并且耗体力。你看当年姆斯特No.1的时候老桑
到哪里去了？所以老桑不可能一年赢90多场比赛。
所以说光对比技术不能说明问题。要是老桑和小费生在同一时代，欧的预测是
75%+的时间小费No.1, 老桑偶然冒一下头。 |

光讲技术, i bet roger would win. and he is a much better player overall.
but pete's 打法 focus on his own serving game, regardless how well roger
play 相持球, it would be still to hard for roger to break pete's serving
game given pete is at his peak.
the best outcome would be play tiebreak. and the final result could go
either way.
keep in mind, roger's serving game got broken many many times.

This is easy to tell when they meet in 2001, at that time roger still far
from mature and pete was not in good situation either. However it seems
roger handle pete's serve well and pete can hardly read roger's serve. If
pete's serve can be handled well do you still think he can win?

losted to in year 2001 in finals.
2001: Indian Wells Masters (lost to Andre Agassi)
2001: Los Angeles (lost to Andre Agassi)

2001: U.S. Open (lost to Lleyton Hewitt)
2002: Houston (lost to Andy Roddick)
it is hard to use 2001 roger won over pete as reference to say roger would
beat pete when pete is in his peak.

后来森伯斯（香港口音）占据了90年代，
到现在小费独霸天下，
从发展的观点看，应该是越新的越强，
但也无法再让关公和秦琼打一架。
小费出道时，根本不是桑的对手，有比赛为证，就是想不起来了；
桑开始打的时候，也是起伏不定，不敌贝，埃二人。
高手应该是对当时的对手而言，
打遍天下只是当时的天下，幸好也只是当时的天下。
现下九阴真经（底线）当道，如果九阳神功(发上）没有大成，估计无法出头。
天王在变，俺们还是手攥啤酒，认真学习，努力喝彩...哈哈 |
