weight and balance is very very minimal. I'm willing to say that if someone
hand my mgpm and a stock 4-3/8 mgpm to a user and ask to do a double blind
test - they would not know which one is modified. |

weight of half size one: 0.35 oz
weight of full size one: 0.7 oz
There is no doubt it will change the balance of the racquet.

entire handle and not just concentrated at the end. So yes, it adds weight,
yes it will alter balance, but no, it won't alter it THAT much - in fact,
probably not as much the variation you get from the manufacturer (with the
exception of Fischer with their 1% tolerance)
I have seen 2 stock K90 that has VASTLY difference balance. My personal
experience with Wilson's PSC6.1 tells me that no 2 are balanced the same.

the oven. only takes about 45 seconds or less. You'll know it's done when
the wrap shrunk to be tightly wrapped around the handle. Then you take it
out and trim off the excess.
very simple and takes no time at all.

Like I said you can accomplish the same thing with a blowdryer but I'm not a
patient man... lol
I wouldn't recommend this method with an antique wood racket through. There
's a pretty good chance that it'll warp.

I had to cut the tape into proper width and attach them one piece
after another.
But patience is not enough. I still can't beat a same level pusher
due to my poor stamina, :(

trouble...
The guy stands 5 feet behind the baseline, runs down every ball and lobs his
paceless crap from all over the court.
Then you let go your guard and give him a not too deep ball and he takes a
good wack at it...
Patience is the key!

protection rubber on the naked wire. It can run upto 600 degrees, so it will
dry the rubber very quickly. I used it when I did undergraduate lab. It
will not be difficult to use.
Another concern is that how close the heat shrink sleeve can attach to the
original handle?
